Consular outreach visits

A few times a year a consulate travels to a city in its district and takes documents there. For a lot of people that is the difference between a day of driving and a couple of hours.

What it is

Consular staff travel to a city with a large Ukrainian population and spend a few days taking documents there, exactly as they would at the embassy itself. Same institution, same services, just closer to you.

What you can usually do at one

  • Collect a passport that has already been produced, if you filed at the embassy.
  • File documents registering a child born abroad as a Ukrainian citizen.
  • Go onto temporary or permanent consular registration.
  • File for the certificate confirming a person is alive — the one the Pension Fund requires for the annual physical identification.
  • Apply for a passport, though outreach sessions usually limit this to defined categories, so read the announcement.

How to get a place

  1. Booking is online only and opens after the announcement — nobody is seen without one.
  2. The announcement, with time, place and booking link, usually appears about three weeks ahead on the mission’s own site and social media.
  3. Slots are limited and go quickly. Watch your mission’s page rather than waiting to be reminded.
  4. Schedules move. A date you saw a month ago is worth re-checking before you travel.

We have no confirmed sessions listed right now

We only list a session once we have opened the official announcement ourselves. Empty means empty — not that nothing is happening. Your mission’s own schedule, linked below, is always more current than any list of ours.

Where your mission publishes its schedule

We do not copy schedules here — they change, and no copy of ours would be fresher than the original. These are the pages worth bookmarking.
