Link to us

If you run a community website, a parish bulletin, a school newsletter, a credit-union page or a municipal page for newcomers — here is everything needed to link in thirty seconds. No need to ask: the permission is already here.

Fine without asking

  • Link to any page — the homepage, a guide, a tool, a country page.
  • Quote an excerpt (up to a few paragraphs) with attribution and a link to the page.
  • Print our cards or flyer for a noticeboard — files below.
  • Use the logo next to the link, unaltered.

Please

  • Link to the page rather than copying it whole: guides get updated, and a copy goes stale and misleads someone. That is why we do not permit republishing entire guides.
  • If you quote a figure or a date, keep the check date that sits next to it on the page.
  • Do not present us as legal or immigration advice — we explain procedures and point to the body that publishes them.

What you will not get from us. We do not pay for links or sell them, do not swap “link for link”, and do not host other people’s text for the sake of links. If someone offers you that in our name, it is not us.

Do you help other people? There is a page for that

For parishes, schools, credit unions and volunteers: which sheets to keep ready, and what to tell someone at the moment it matters most. Print and hand out freely.

Ready-made text

Copy whichever fits. HTML for a website; plain text for a bulletin, newsletter or group.

Deep links that actually help

A link to a specific guide is worth more than a link to the homepage — the reader lands on the answer. The most useful ones:

Logo and print materials

The logo is for use next to a link, unrecoloured and uncropped. The cards (10 per sheet) and the bilingual flyer are for a noticeboard or an event table.

For developers and editors

An RSS feed of guides and the digest, an llms.txt for assistants and search engines, structured data on every page with the update date. The monthly digest of changes goes out by email. RSS · llms.txt · newsletter

Linked to us? Tell us

Optional — but we read every message, and communities that link to us are the first to hear when a guide changes.
