Review a guide as a practitioner

If you are a lawyer, notary, adviser, banker, credit union officer or other practitioner and you can see where we have simplified something, or where practice differs — write in. Reviews are published with your name, title and firm, on the guide itself. You can also propose a topic or section in your field: we agree the questions, we write the piece, and we credit you as the expert whose answers it rests on.

We do not publish submitted articles — we write them ourselves from your answers, because every figure here carries the date it was checked and every procedure links to the agency that publishes it. We neither pay for reviews nor charge for them, and editorial decisions remain ours. Before publishing we check your standing: for regulated professions, your country’s official register; for institutional experts, the institution itself (insurance, association membership) and that you work there. If you are employed, please clear it with your employer — a credit without the firm’s name is fine too. **A credit is entirely optional:** if you would rather not be public, we simply apply your corrections and say nothing about you — the “reviewed by a practitioner” block appears only with a name, because otherwise a reader cannot check it. Help given quietly counts just as much. The credit carries a standing note: a review confirms accuracy on that date and is not a recommendation to hire you. If a guide changes substantially we will ask for a re-review or remove the credit.
